Centex Attack 13U defeats Impact basketball in “The Southern Smoke” basketball tournament

On July 12, 2020, two Austin area based teams, Centex Attack 13U and Impact basketball played each other in the 7th grade pool A of the, “Southern Smoke” basketball tournament at the PAC in Cedar Park, Texas. Centex Attack defeated Impact Sportz, 50-35. The first half was back and forth in terms of score leads but Centex Attack rallied towards the end of the first half to extend their lead and in the second half to win the match and complete a perfect weekend record by winning pool A 3-0. Centex Attack were crowned the Southern Smoke 7th/13U champions since all the other teams in the other pools had lost a game.
