While our focus over the next several months will be on the high school season, it’s also time to plan ahead for the next cycle of grassroots basketball.
And with that being said, the G1 Series is currently accepting applications from programs to join our field of teams for Year 2 of the best circuit in Texas.
5 stops including a pair of Live Period events, high level competition, and unrivaled media and content coverage across all three divisions (17U, 16U, 15U).

GASO Pre-Season Team Rankings
After much debate and deliberation around the GASO office, we’ve unveiled our team rankings for all classifications of UIL along with lists for both Private and Prep programs in Texas. With only 3 weeks remaining until the 2026-27 season actually tips off, we can’t wait to get back into the gym and find out which teams we were right about, who we were sleeping on, and the teams that force their way into these lists before the first rankings update in late November.
