Injuries to LT Tyler Guyton, WR CeeDee Lamb are not serious

The X-rays on Cowboys left tackle Tyler Guyton’s back were negative, coach Brian Schottenheimer said Friday.

Guyton sat out the team’s final offensive series with his injury. Broderick Jones replaced him.

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb also received good news as his quad injury is only a bruise. He was in and out of the game on the final drive.

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is better after missing the 24-16 loss to the Buccaneers with an illness. He arrived at the game sick, and the Cowboys made him inactive.

Safety Alijah Clark is the only concerning injury out of the game, and Schottenheimer called Clark day-to-day. The Cowboys have safeties P.J. Locke and Jalen Thompson on injured reserve.

The Cowboys don’t play again until Oct. 18.
