TTP Ep. 556: Jonny Parsons, Austin Bashi and UFC Vegas 124

Jonny Parsons Interview (1:48)

Kicking off this UFC Vegas 123 edition of TTP is our interview with UFC welterweight, Jonny Parsons. Parsons discusses picking up a big win in his UFC debut and then having to wait nearly four years to build that win streak. That time was not lost to “The Sluggernaut” who has been cornering fighters and honing his craft in the gym. Plus, he talks about his time in Thailand and watching his sons fight full contact muay thai. Now he’s back home and ready to show the world what he’s made of once again.

Fights, Dogs and Parlays: UFC Vegas 124 (13:17)

After a crazy night with some questionable referee decisions in the Meta Apex, we head back to the UFC’s home. UFC Vegas 124 features a last second headliner change. After Sean Brady was not able to meet Gabriel Bonfim on Saturday, the UFC pivoted to give us a heavyweight tilt between Johnny Walker and Waldo Cortes-Acosta. Plus, we have a number-one contenders’ fight in the co-main when Tatiana Suarez looks to punch her ticket against Virna Jandiroba. We’ll break down those fights as well as some of our other favorite fights on the main card. Plus, as always, we’re hitting you with an underdog and a plus-money parlay that we think will make your wallet fat this weekend. For this segment, all odds via FanDuel Sportsbook.

Austin Bashi Interview (17:47)

Closing out this UFC Vegas 124 edition of TTP is our interview with UFC featherweight, Austin Bashi. Bashi discusses the lessons that he took away from his fight with Jose Miguel Delgado and what it was like to see him main event right after. He also talks about getting into MMA at a young age and some of the inspirations behind that.
